The Garden City Hotel
We have a room block for our guests at this hotel and recommend guests stay here! The surrounding city provides shopping and dining options, and the hotel is close to Hempstead station for convenient travel to and from the city.
Shuttles will run on the day of the wedding transporting guests between the Garden City Hotel and Hempstead House.
Update: The hotel room block is now full. Guests are welcome to book at normal rates through the hotel.
For the room block, please book by Wednesday, April 9, 2025. Use either the link below or call the hotel's Reservations Department 516-747-3000 (select the option for reservations) to book under the Haigler/Yu wedding. Please ensure the guest count for the room is accurate for shuttle scheduling purposes!
Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn
Though we do not have a room block at this hotel, we recommend this as an alternative accommodation for our wedding weekend.
Getting to Accommodations

Public Transportation: ~$14-$17 (1 hr 15 min+)
1. Take the free Q70-SBS bus to Woodside station.
2. Take the E train to Jamaica LIRR station.
3. Take LIRR to Hempstead LIRR station: Take the Ronkonkoma line to Jamaica LIRR station (1 stop), then transfer to the Hempstead line to Hempstead LIRR station (11 stops).
4. Walk from the station to the hotel.
